Annually, the Ashland Police Foundation, Inc. holds the Ashland Police Officers’ Ball, typically at Randolph-Macon College in early February. This unique and fun, formal event recognizes members of the department and citizens during an awards ceremony who have had an outstanding performance throughout the year. The Ball includes a catered dinner, live band and dancing. It is a community event with well over 400 attendees.
